Off the grid

Photo by Dmitriy Frantsev on Unsplash

There’s a certain

freedom

in being

untethered

            (when your cell service is

            suspended

            due to late payments).

Off the grid

(I have thought about running away

many more times

as an adult

than I ever did

as a child.)

Untethered to social media

Who could ever find me

If I didn’t want to be found?

Off the grid
